South Africa’s Navi Pillay Awarded 2026 Nobel Peace Prize
South African jurist Navi Pillay has been awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of her contributions to peace and international law. The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced her name at 3pm Bangladesh time on Friday.
